Sony’s Recycling Program

Sony is one of the few companies who are environmentally conscious. It will almost be a year when this Japanese consumer electronic manufacturer have launched their recycling program. If you own a bunch of old electronic products from Sony, it’s a good idea to let Sony dispose of these products rather than do it on your own.

Sony disposes of these used electronics in a safe manner and recycles some of the reusable electronic components and integrated circuits to upgrade other electronic equipment or make use of the metals in these components to make new parts. Sony’s Recycling Program will mark its 1 year on September 15th.

  1. This is a great idea. I guess I relied on yard sales and ebay to ‘lose’ my electronic products but, this is better and I have an ancient old video camera heading Sony’s way. I like the idea of recycling technology to create newer technology.
